【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoverstheevaluationofwearlifeofabondedsolidfilmlubricantunderoscillatingmotionbymeansofablock-on-ringfrictionandweartestingmachine.Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSI(metric)unitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.WithinthetexttheSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents,thereforeeachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesofthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
