【摘要】:1ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestechnicalsafetyrequirementsandprotectivemeasurestobeadoptedbypersonsundertakingthedesignasdefinedin3.11ofEN292-1:1991,manufactureandsupplyofpneumaticpressestheintendeduseofwhichisthecoldworkingofmetalormaterialpartlyofmetalasdefinedin3.1.13andhereafterreferredasmachines.Thisstandardalsoappliestomachineswhichareintegratedintoanautomaticproductionlinewherethehazardsandriskarisingarecomparabletothoseofmachinesworkingseparately.2Thisstandardalsocoverspneumaticpresses:—whoseprimaryintendeduseisthecoldworkingofmetal,whicharetobeusedinthesamewaytoworkothersheetmaterials(e.g.cardboard,plastic,rubber,leather)andmetalpowder;—withanintermediatepneumatic/hydraulicintensifier.3Therequirementsinthisstandardtakeaccountofintendeduse,asdefinedin3.12ofEN292-1:1991.Thisstandardpresumesaccesstothepressfromalldirections,dealswiththehazardsdescribedinclause4,andspecifiesthesafetymeasuresforboththeoperatorandotherexposedpersons.4Thisstandardalsoappliestoancillarydeviceswhichareanintegralpartofthepress.Thisstandardalsoappliestomachineswhichareintegratedintoanautomaticproductionlinewherethehazardsandriskarisingarecomparabletothoseofmachinesworkingseparately.5Thisstandarddoesnotcovermachineswhoseprincipaldesignedpurposeis:a)sheetmetalcuttingbyguillotine;b)bendingorfoldingbypneumaticpressbrakesorfoldingmachines;c)spotwelding;d)tubebending;e)straightening;f)dropstamping;g)workingbypneumatichammer;h)compactionofmetalpowder.Specialpneumaticmachinesforassemblyingorcalibratingarenotcoveredbutthisstandardmaybeusedasabasisfortheremachines.6ThisstandarddoesnotcoverthesafetyrequirementsrelatedtotheuseofPESorPPS.Theywillbedealtwithatitsnextrevision.7ThisstandardisnotapplicabletomachineswhicharemanufacturedbeforethedateofpublicationofthisdocumentbyCEN.
