【摘要】:1ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestwomethods(methodAandmethodB)forthedeterminationofthetensile-impactstrengthofplasticsunderdefinedconditions.Thetestscanbedescribedastensiletestsatrelativelyhighstrainrates.Thesemethodscanbeusedforrigidmaterials(asdefinedinISO472),butareespeciallyusefulformaterialstooflexibleortoothintobetestedwithimpacttestsconformingtoISO179orISO180.2Thesemethodsareusedforinvestigatingthebehaviourofspecifiedspecimensunderspecifiedimpactvelocities,andforestimatingthebrittlenessorthetoughnessofspecimenswithinthelimitationsinherentinthetestconditions.3Thesemethodsareapplicablebothtospecimenspreparedfrommouldingmaterialsandtospecimenstakenfromfinishedorsemi-finishedproducts(forexamplemouldings,laminates,orextrudedorcastsheets).4Resultsobtainedbytestingmouldedspecimensofdifferentdimensionsmaynotnecessarilybethesame.Equally,specimenscutfrommouldedproductsmaynotgivethesameresultsasspecimensofthesamedimensionsmouldeddirectlyfromthematerial.Testresultsobtainedfromspecimenspreparedfrommouldingcompoundscannotbeapplieddirectlytomouldingsofanygivenshape,becausevaluesmaydependonthedesignofthemouldingandthemouldingconditions.ResultsobtainedbymethodAandmethodBmayormaynotbecomparable.5Thesemethodsarenotsuitableforuseasasourceofdatafordesigncalculationsoncomponents.Informationonthetypicalbehaviourofamaterialcanbeobtained,however,bytestingdifferenttypesoftestspecimenpreparedunderdifferentconditions,andbytestingatdifferenttemperatures.Thetwodifferentmethodsaresuitableforproductioncontrolaswellasforqualitycontrol.
