【摘要】:Representativesamplesofpetroleumandpetroleumproductsarerequiredforthedeterminationofchemicalandphysicalproperties,whichareusedtoestablishstandardvolumes,prices,andcompliancewithcommercialandregulatoryspecifications.1.1Thispracticecoversinformationforthedesign,installation,testing,andoperationofautomatedequipmentfortheextractionofrepresentativesamplesofpetroleumandpetroleumproductsfromaflowingstreamandstoringtheminasamplereceiver.Ifsamplingisfortheprecisedeterminationofvolatility,usePracticeD5842(APIMPMSChapter8.4)inconjunctionwiththispractice.Forsamplemixing,refertoPracticeD5854(APIMPMSChapter8.3).PetroleumproductscoveredinthispracticeareconsideredtobeasinglephaseandexhibitNewtoniancharacteristicsatthepointofsampling.1.2ApplicableFluids8212;Thispracticeisapplicabletopetroleumandpetroleumproductswithvaporpressuresatsamplingandstoragetemperatureslessthanorequalto101kPa(14.7psi).RefertoD5842(APIMPMSChapter8.4)whensamplingforReidvaporpressure(RVP)determination.1.3Non-applicableFluids8212;Petroleumproductswhosevaporpressureatsamplingandsamplestorageconditionsareabove101kPa(14.7psi)andliquifiedgases(thatis,LNG,LPGetc.)arenotcoveredbythispractice.1.3.1Whiletheprocedurescoveredbythispracticewillproducearepresentativesampleoftheflowingliquidintothesamplereceiver,specializedsamplehandlingmaybenecessarytomaintainsampleintegrityofmorevolatilematerialsathightemperaturesorextendedresidencetimeinthereceiver.Suchhandlingrequirementsarenotwithinthescopeofthispractice.ProceduresforsamplingthesefluidsaredescribedinPracticeD1265,TestMethod,andGPA2166.1.4AnnexA2containstheoreticalcalculationsforselectingthesamplerprobelocation.AnnexA3listsacceptancemethodologiesforsamplingsystemsandcomponents.AnnexA4givesperformancecriteriaforpermanentinstallations,whileAnnexA5hasthecriteriaforportablesamplingunits.AnnexA6providessampleracceptancetestdata.AppendixX1isadesigndatasheetforautomaticsamplingsystems.AppendixX2comparesthepercentsedimentandwatertounloadingtimeperiod.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.
