【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversdesignations,dimensions,andtolerancesforonlythegroundsurfacesofinterchangeabletaper-groundjointsforlaboratoryandindustrialequipmentinfull-length,medium-length,short-length,andinternational-length(ISOK-6series)grindings.Note18212;Thedimensionspertainingtofull-length,medium-length,andshort-lengthjoints,otherthanforthetoleranceonlengthofgrind,weretakendirectlyfromthenowobsoleteCommercialStandardCS21.Note28212;Tolerancesonthediametersoftheinternational-lengthjointsdonotagreewiththosegiveninISORecommendationR383.ThesetoleranceshavebeenestablishedtoagreewiththoseofCS21inordertopreventthenegativeprojection(largeendofinnerjointbeingsmallerthanlargeendofouterjoint)permittedbyISO.Note38212;Althoughglassisthemostcommonlyusedmaterialforgroundjoints,othermaterialsmaybeusedasspecified.Taper-groundjointsconstructedfromglassshouldbeofsuitablechemicalandthermalpropertiesinaccordancewithSpecificationE438.JointsshouldbeasfreeaspossibleofvisibledefectsandconformtoSpecificationE671.1.2ThefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytotheTestMethodportion,Section4,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
