【摘要】:Itisrecognizedthatwhencomparingdifferenttypesofrubbermaterials,theserviceperformancemaynotcorrelatetotheresultsofthispredictivetest.Thistestmethodshouldnotbeusedasameasureofabrasionresistanceforcompositionsthatdiffermarkedlyfromthestandardreferencecompound.Misleadingresults,forexample,areobtainedfrompolyurethanecompositionswhencomparedwiththestandardreferencecompound.Somespecimensmaybounce(chatter)againsttheabrasivepaper,producinginaccurateresults.Theseshouldbeinterpretedwithcareandtheconditionreported.Iftestresultsareinconsistent,thespecimensshouldbecut,afterthetestisrun,andinspectedforvoids.Ifanyvoidsarepresent,theresultsshouldbedisregardedandthetestrepeatedusingtestspecimensthatarefreefromvoids.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheresistancetoabrasionofvulcanizedrubber,orotherrubbermaterialsthataresimilartothestandardreferencecompound,usedforthesolesandheelsoffootwear.Itisnotrecommendedformaterialslessthan2.5mm(0.1in.)inthickness.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
